ABOUT OUR SOAPS

Are your soaps really handmade?

Yes. Every Truequest soap bar is handmade in small batches using the traditional cold‑process method. No mass production, no shortcuts — just honest, carefully crafted soap.

What ingredients do you use?

We use high‑quality plant oils, natural clays, botanicals, and essential oils. No detergents, no SLS, no parabens, no synthetic preservatives.

Are your soaps suitable for sensitive skin?

Many customers with sensitive skin find our soaps gentle and soothing. However, everyone’s skin is unique. We cannot guarantee how your skin will react, but all soaps share the same mild base recipe — only the essential oils differ.

Do you test on animals?

Never. All products are cruelty‑free and tested only on me.

Are your soaps vegan?

Most bars are vegan-friendly. If a soap contains honey, milk, or other non‑vegan ingredients, it will be clearly labelled.

Do your soaps contain palm oil?

No. Truequest does not use palm oil in any products

USING & CARING FOR YOUR SOAP

How long does a bar of soap last?

Typically 3–5 weeks depending on use. Allowing your soap to dry fully between uses will extend its life. We suggest opening 2 soaps and alternating daily between them, allowing each bar to rest and dry fully between uses.

How should I store my soap?

Keep it on a draining soap dish away from standing water. Store unused bars in a cool, dry place.

Can I use your soaps on my face?

Yes — many customers do. If you have very sensitive facial skin, choose a gentle scent such as lavender or unscented.

Soap are for external use only - Avoid contact with your eyes - In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water – Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

GIFTING & CUSTOMISATION

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes. Our Petite, Duo, and Signature Gift Bags can be customised with your choice of ribbon and tissue paper colours.

Can I add a personalised message?

Absolutely. We can print a short message (up to 30 characters) on a round sticker and attach it to the gift bag.

What colours can I choose from?

Ribbon: pink, gold, red, lilac, jute twine, black satin, white satin, plus seasonal colours. Tissue: white, cream, pink, blue, kraft brown, plus seasonal patterns.

Can you choose colours for me?

Yes — simply request “Please choose colours for me” and we’ll create a beautifully coordinated gift.

ORDERS & DELIVERY

How long does delivery take?

Orders are usually dispatched within 2–4 business days. Delivery times vary depending on the carrier and your location.

Do you offer tracked or signed delivery?

Yes. Signed‑for delivery is available upon request. Additional fees apply — please contact us before ordering.

My parcel shows as delivered but I can’t find it. What should I do?

Check safe places, neighbours, or communal areas. If still missing, contact us immediately and we will open an investigation with the carrier.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping is available. Customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Can I return my soap?

For hygiene reasons, soaps must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging to qualify for a return.

What if I received the wrong item or a damaged product?

Can I return an item if I ordered the wrong one?

Yes — provided it is unopened and unused. Shipping costs cannot be refunded for customer order errors.

Do you accept returns for skin reactions?

No. We cannot accept returns based on personal skin sensitivity.

Do your soaps contain allergens?

Essential oils, botanicals, and natural ingredients may contain allergens. Full ingredient lists are provided for every product.

Can I request an unscented soap?

Yes — unscented bars are available and ideal for very sensitive skin - see the Butter and Bubbles soap bar.
